This course covers the general phases of clinical trials (focusing on drugs, biologics, and vaccines), defining the difference between clinical research and clinical care, and the responsibilities of a Principal Investigator for ensuring safety and compliance in a clinical trial. Attendance at this program has been approved for 0.50 contact hours of research specific continuing education on applications for Maintenance of ACRP’s CCRC®, CCRA®, CPI®, or ACRP-CP® certification designations.
